LF393N JFET Input Op-Amp
The LM393N is a Dual Input JEFET from Texas Instruments. Since the Op-Amp inputs are feed through JFET they provide high input impedance and wide bandwidth (4MHz) with high slew rate (13V/uS). It also provides low input noise and bias current making the IC suitable for Audio amplifier applications.
The Op-Amp is designed to be used in dual supply voltage (±18V), using with single supply will limit the output voltage to 0.7V for low and 1.5V for high. Hence the Op-Amp is more widely used in analog circuit or audio circuits. The digital circuit equivalent for LF393N will be MCP6002 from Microchip.
