Where to use TDA7265
TDA7265 is basically used in applications where high quality audio power amplification and high efficiency both are required. The device being class AB dual audio power amplifier specifically designed for such high quality sound applications. With high power output capacity the chip can also be used for driving loud speakers and woofers.
How to use TDA7265
There is no need to design new circuits for the device TDA7265 as the application circuit diagram for the chip is already given in the datasheet of the component. The design of application circuit is optimized for best performance and so using it in applications is ideal. All you need to do is connect the components as given in the circuit diagram to get the amplifier working.
The above circuit is powered from two power supply units, one being positive voltage +Vs and other being negative voltage -Vs. The mute is triggered low from a microprocessor to disable output under requirement. Here the chip drives a two 25Watt speaker to its peak. The audio input for channel A is given at pin7 and the amplified output is listened though LEFT speaker. Similarly audio input for channel B is given at pin11 and the amplified output is listened though RIGHT speaker.
Here TDA7265 is powered from single supply voltage source +Vs and the mute is triggered low by a separate control unit. As above the chip drives a two 25Watt speaker to its peak here. The audio input for both channels and amplified outputs are provided the same as dual supply operation.
There are other applications circuits similar to the above one in the datasheet to provide additional circuit configurations for the user. The user can use those configurations to design his applications.
