MCP6004 Low Power 1MHz Op-Amp
The MCP6004 is a Quad Op-amp 14-Pin package. The Op-amps are known for their low power and high bandwidth gain. The bandwidth gain is upto 1MHz and the operating voltage could be as low as 1.8V with a quiescent current of only 100uA. These ICs are commonly used in amplifier designs required high gain.

Introduction to MCP6004
The MCP6004 belongs to the MCP600X family of Op-Amps from Microchip. This complete family of Op-Amps is Rail-Rail Op-Amp with a very gain bandwidth Product of 1MHz and Low Operating Voltage. It is commonly used in general purpose audio amplifier designs.
This particular MCP6004 IC is a 14-Pin IC with four Op-Amps inside. The minimum operating voltage of the IC is only 1.8V on single supply rail and the quiescent current could be as 100uA. It also has a broad range of common mode input voltage range which is 300mV give or take to the operating voltage rail values. Because of its low operating voltage and low quiescent current it can be used in battery operated devices, it is also suited for single cell operated products like mp3 player, portable radio etc… The IC is also automotive grade and hence can also be used in the infotainment system of automobiles.
