AC-DC Power Supplies with Wide Input Operating Range Designed for Medical and Household Applications

XP Power has introduced the new FCB100 series of AC-DC power supplies that is compliant with class B conducted & radiated emissions, can be used in both class I & class II installations, and the wide 80VAC to 264VAC operating input range makes it ideal for both home healthcare applications and in-hospital use. Moreover, all models in the FCB100 series have a no-load power consumption of less than 0.3W.

The FCB100 series operates in ambient temperatures from -25°C to +70°C and includes overvoltage, overload, short circuit, and overtemperature protection as standard. The input to output isolation is 4,000VAC (2 x MOPP), input to ground 1,500VAC (1 x MOPP), and output to ground 1,500VAC (1 x MOPP) combined with low leakage current for suitability in BF rated medical devices.
